As an Applications Engineer, you will work with customers, distribution field personnel, specialist colleagues, and corporate applications to enable design wins and bring issues to closure as efficiently as possible. You will be responsible for supporting all phases of the design process through web-based customer support and on-site customer support. You should also understand software/hardware trade-offs and be involved as required from concept through system-level implementation. You will provide technical training, demos, and other collaterals to the Intel PSG field, distributors, and customers. Your typical day-to-day interaction will be with the PSG direct, distribution FAE teams, and customers.

The Infrastructure and Platform Solutions Group (IPSG) builds the silicon and platform infrastructure for Intel's silicon design teams. IPSG is comprised of a reusable pool of infrastructure IP blocks, design enabling services such as tools and automation, and a best-in-class post-silicon ecosystem that ramps quickly to high volume manufacturing and validation. Responsibilities
The successful candidate's minimum qualifications will include the following:
HSSI Protocol knowledge and experience with Triple Speed Ethernet, 10G/25G/40G and 100G Ethernet including KR interface, and video interfaces.
Qualifications
Good Understanding of LPDDR/DDR JEDEC specifications and related DDR Protocols
Good understanding of design for yield and exposure to production challenges in latest technology process node
Cross-discipline knowledge in any of these areas, such as Analog integration, RTL/System Verilog, Static timing analysis concepts, APR, Floor-planning, Metal-routing, Power-grid, Memory IO training MRC and HAS/MAS specification documentation.
Experience Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Experience with VHDL, Verilog and FPGA verification tools, and high-density FPGA design
The experience of AI or NFV is preferred.
Education Requirements
Bachelor or Master Degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
