Who are we?
The UK HR team provides commercially focused solutions regarding people issues to all our Warner Bros. filmed entertainment businesses for the UK and Ireland (approx. 500 employees). Our businesses are diverse ranging from the sales, marketing and distribution of Film, DVD and TV to the rapidly expanding local TV production, digital distribution and Games markets.
Responsibilities
Create and maintain the administration related to employees’ terms and conditions of employment (such as variations of contracts, leavers, etc.).
Provide guidance, advice, and coaching to managers on general queries.
Maintain electronic Personnel Files for all employees; ensure regular filing and archiving of leavers.
Maintain the HR system to ensure that all new hires, leavers, and changes are captured and recorded. Carry out all system position management. Support the wider HR teams with system queries and best practices as and when necessary.
Assist the VP of HR and HR Director during the annual Total Reward Planning (TRP) process; through data cleansing, confirming employee eligibility, submitting adjustments and promotions and distributing TRP confirmation statements.
Support the onboarding process and deliver the monthly company induction sessions for all new joiners including Interns and Apprentices. Ensure that the right to work checks are carried out on day one.
Prepare the UK and Ireland monthly payroll submissions to ensure that all new hires, leavers and pay changes are reported in a timely and accurate manner. Liaise with Warner Media payroll to ensure the correct payment of salary and benefits for all employees.
Process all HR department invoices and raise Purchase Orders.
On a monthly basis, review and update all the UK Company org charts.
Qualifications
Experience working with SAP.
Previous experience of working within an American parent company.
Experience Requirements
Previous HR administration experience is required with a genuine interest and understanding of the role HR plays in an organization.
Excellent working knowledge of Excel, including V look-up and formulas.
Experience with Workday or other HR databases.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Confident communicating with all levels of staff within the Company.
Patient, calm and unflappable nature and flexibility in approach to workload.
Must be discreet, diplomatic and treat information within the department as highly confidential.
Meticulous attention to detail essential, including proofing and editing.
Ability to take initiative using own discretion and skills and work with limited supervision.
