As a Data Center Solutions Sales Specialist you will work across Russia and CIS (RCIS) region and your primary goal will be to drive the growth of our Data Center hardware and software business and assist Cisco, as we continue to evolve as a market leader, preserving top-line margins and creating offers and solutions for our Customers with differentiated advantages over the competition. The primary goal of the RCIS Data Center Sales Team is to grow our annual Data Center business and have a broad impact on the adoption of our enterprise software products. We are about to accomplish this through direct customer sales activity, cultivating relationships with Cisco’s strategic sales partners and evangelizing the product portfolio with customers and peers. What You'll Do
RCIS Sales organization is looking for our next game-changing team member. You will be part of a team that drives Cisco’s Data Center product portfolio along with a focus on Recurring Software adoption within the Data Center environment.
You will be responsible for selling Cisco’s Data Center hardware (Compute & Switching) and software products to a targeted group of customers.

In this role you will be:
Responsible for establishing customer relationships and leading the pursuit of Data Center opportunities to meet or exceed established goals.
Develop Data Center account plans for assigned account(s) to drive strategic, customer-facing Data Center engagements that require creative and complex solutions
Establish partnerships with account team peers in the assigned account(s) to integrate Data Center sales strategies, manage forecasts and provide insight into market and business opportunities
Actively work with strategic partners to develop sales engagement plans.
Inter-lock with the BE teams to provide field-based feedback on existing solutions that accelerate the consumption of Cisco Data Center solutions.
Drive strategic, customer-facing SDA engagements that require creative and complex solutions.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will also include:
Understand business requirements for customer base and be able to translate them into technical requirements.
Lead the definition and drive the development of the product in conjunction with Cisco Development resources.
Develop and deliver on a high level, complex technology-specific product line strategies, and major market programs and initiatives.
Create and drive the technology strategy and collateral content for Geo product introductions.
Work within the business unit to drive the evolution of Data Center portfolio in line with specific theatre needs, aligning where appropriate with global initiatives
Take a process-oriented approach to definition and management of product requirements
Integrate customer and market requirements with Cisco products to create future solutions
Evangelize product and solutions strategies to internal stakeholders, filed teams and external partners and customers.
Understand competitor's positioning and strategies and develop Cisco's competitive technology service strategy and positioning.
Provide detailed architectural solutions, technical and sales support. Serve as the subject matter expert and key technical advisor to the product management and sales engineering teams
Provide support to other architecture members in helping to deliver a cohesive Cisco strategy across RCIS
Actively participate as a specialist on assigned Virtual Team(s) and/or Solutions Team(s).

Experience Requirements

At least 5+ years of validated relevant industry experience combined with Pre-Sales/Sales experience.
Deep understanding of Data Center architecture and solutions including both Compute and DC Networking technologies
Self-starter, with a hunger for knowledge and a strong aptitude for commercial and business concepts.

Experience in Software Defined DC Networking would be advantageous

Education Requirements

BS/BA (EE/CS) degree from a reputable University or equivalent combined with CCNP or CCDP, or similar vendor Certification will be highly regarded.

Skills

Strong team player with excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Russian.
