Senior Level Designer [Unannounced Project]

Are you an experienced Level Designer with a love for creating compelling gameplay experiences? Are you an expert at letting systems drive gameplay rather than scripting? Then we got a great opportunity for you!

Ubisoft Stockholm is looking for a Senior Level Designer for an exciting unannounced project. As a key member of the World team, you will work to establish and maintain best practices for level & mission design within your area.

As a mentor and inspiration to the team you will be constantly refining processes, pipelines and tools as well as generally defining “what good looks like”. You will also ensure that the team works to best practices and with the right tools ensuring consistent quality.

Making good games takes effort, making great games takes a different type of thinking.

What you do:

Drive various components of world design to create fun gameplay experiences.
Collaborate with colleagues from other disciplines at the studio to define systems, features, tools, and methods for implementation.
Establish team vision for best practices, methodologies used, quality benchmark and provide training & coaching as needed.
Use new technology, design principles and methodologies to create disruptive gameplay moments and fulfill player motivation.
Build and lead a diverse team of complementary skills, making sure your team has what it needs to create an engaging and interactive world.
