Senior UI Engineer, CDO

Cisco is offering an extraordinary opportunity to be part of a small, agile team, developing Cisco Defense Orchestrator (https://www.getcdo.com), an innovative cloud-based security policy manager. The product development team is set up to operate totally independently and releases new functionality rapidly in order to respond quickly to customer needs. We are looking for an energetic Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to contribute to the development of this product.
How we work

Every single software engineer on our team is involved in the entire development cycle, starting from refining requirements from the Product teams through to designing, developing, testing, and releasing features to production.

We work on a one-week sprint cycle, and each team works on a series of Minimum Marketable Features that touch every aspect of our entire application. We operate as a DevOps team, with each scrum team having one or two engineers seconded to Ops rotations every few weeks. Our technology stack includes multiple Java and NodeJS microservices deployed in the public cloud, and an AngularJS frontend.

The drive & passion to iterate rapidly in a fast-paced software development team;
A passion for new technology;
Interest in Computer Security;
The proven ability to work collaboratively to translate product designs into usable and efficient implementations;
The proven ability to develop web applications;
A strong commitment to test-driven development;

Strong TypeScript/Javascript/Node JS skills;
Scripting languages: Shell/Ruby/Perl/Python/Groovy;
DevOps experience: a knowledge of how to deploy, monitor, and manage a cloud-based application.

SaaS experience;
Experience driving the adoption of new ideas (we’re always open to them!)
Experience working on a small agile team
Experience with Angular 2/AngularJS and/or other web frameworks such as React/Vue;
Experience building services using Java, C#, Node.js or similar;
Experience building scalable products with performance kept in mind;
Experience developing and consuming RESTful microservices;
Experience with test automation tools such as Cypress or Protractor;
Experience with rapid prototyping;
Experience working with MongoDB and RabbitMQ;

Bachelor's degree in Computer science.

Comfortable using Linux/UNIX systems;
Debugging and troubleshooting in a distributed environment;
Continuous Integration
Understanding of cloud infrastructure (compute, network, storage, etc.);
