This is a temporary position employed by Corestaff working on-site at Fujifilm Dimatix.

This is a 6-month temporary assignment.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Develops, implements and maintains factory systems using C#, MS SQL Server, MES and other custom products. Participates in cross-functional linked teams and vendors to design, architect and implement factory automation solutions.

Knowledge: Implementing software solutions for the manufacturing process, preferably Semiconductor or Hard drive. Having wide-ranging experience uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.

Job Complexity: Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, applications and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

Supervision: Determines methods and procedures on new assignments, and may provide guidance on the best solution.

Responsibilities

Develop Factory System solutions for Fab automation using C# .NET, MS SQL Server
Testing existing manufacturing tools for SECS/GEM or OPC capability
Work with internal IT team for setup and maintenance of systems to enable Fab automation
Work with external vendors in developing Fab automation solutions and resolving issues
Contribute to the testing and implementation of MES solutions
Help to identify and implement MES solutions and upgrades to existing solutions to improve manufacturing efficiency, equipment maintainability and quality control
Interact with Fab engineers and manufacturing personnel for application requirements
Provide maintenance support such as troubleshooting and problem analysis with internal and external customers
Develop training for automation solutions developed
Documenting, testing and verifying changes related to Factory Systems
Participate in integration of Factory Systems with ERP
Perform acceptance testing of new software and assure smooth rollout
Assure reliable 24/7 operation of integrated factory systems
Cross train with other team members in applications related to Fab automation

Qualifications

C#, Microsoft .NET, MS SQL Server including creation and tuning of stored procedures
Develop .NET Winforms and Web services. WPF a plus.
Multi-threading
MS SQL Server database backup, restore and maintenance
Version control using Microsoft TFS
Gather requirements, effort estimation, design, development, unit testing, deployment, and on-call production support.

Experience Requirements

Worked in a manufacturing environment. Semiconductor or Hard drive a plus.

SECS/GEM, OPC
MES/ERP integration experience
MES modeling
Understanding of manufacturing SPC
Understanding of Data analysis

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in related field and minimum 5 years of professional experience; or Master’s Degree and a minimum of 3 years experience
