We are looking for an experienced customer-focused technical sales professional - Pre-sales Engineer, to join Cisco in the city of Yekaterinburg. In this position, you will provide technical advice to our Account team and the Customer on the design and implementation of technical solutions based on Cisco equipment. You will present Cisco solutions to our Customers from across the entire Cisco portfolio, including software and services. On daily basis, you will work very closely with the Account Manager (s) and you will attract additional teams (e.g. technology consultants, laboratory resources, etc.) to help to recommend, develop, and propose appropriate customer solutions and services offerings.

Cisco Systems is looking for a pre-sales Systems Engineer to join our Technical Sales team in Yekaterinburg to support our fast-growing business! In this role, you will work very closely with our account and partner sales teams to support them in explaining, structuring and helping to sell our key offerings as well as providing the best in class technical expertise to our customers.

Define the client’s business needs in a technical context.
Analyze customer's technical needs, goals, and objectives and effectively match those to what Cisco portfolio offers.
Develop relationships with customers' technical management.
Understand competitive technologies.
Own RFP response activities.
Deliver packaged technology and product presentations.
Conduct PoC (Prove of Concept) using demonstration laboratories, including presentation and documentation of test results.
Escalate customer requests and outstanding cases to the relevant organizations in within Cisco.

Experience Requirements

You should have 3-4 years of Pre-sale engineering experience.

Education Requirements

You should come with a minimum Bachelor's degree from the University (Master degree is preferred).
Ideally, if you already have Cisco Certificates: CCIE / CCNP / CCDP.


Fluent in English is highly desirable.
Energy, purposefulness, stress resistance is very important to succeed in this role.

Desired skills:

You should be able to clearly articulate the technical trends of the internetworking industry.
You should be able to articulates features, functions, and benefits of Cisco technologies and products.
You should be able to position Cisco technologies in reference to the industry offerings.
You should come with very good interpersonal skills. You should be very comfortable presenting in front of the customers.
You should possess very effective time management skills.
