POSITION PROFILE
Reporting & Key Interfaces - Reporting to the Alaris World Wide Vice President of Marketing/Product Management, and working closely with the WW Marketing Director, you will drive the overall marketing strategy, planning process and execution across all APAC Region channels & segments for the Alaris business.
As a key member of the APAC Management Team, the Marketing Director works in close collaboration with the APAC Sales Director and senior country/cluster Marketing and Sales Managers to deliver annual revenue and earnings plans in alignment with the global strategic direction of the business unit.
Directly manage a staff of 5 or 6 across diverse geography/cultures/business climates within the region.
Alignment & Focus - The APAC Regional Marketing Director will work to maximize the effectiveness of Marketing investments by aligning to targeted channels, with defined solutions and articulating value delivery to end users/purchasers. Alignment of messaging with and through channels is critical to gaining leverage of Alaris Advertising spend and channel MDF investments. The Marketing Director will work with the cluster/country Marketing Managers and Field Sales teams to drive appropriate leverage and consistency across marketing campaigns and channel programs, while allowing for local discretion on elements as required.
WW Interface - As the APAC Region Marketing Director, you will be the central point of contact from the region to the World Wide Marketing Team to highlight regional marketing requirements and to leverage World Wide developed assets as a way of driving efficiency and effectiveness across Alaris demand generation, sales enablement, social media, web, content development, and PR.
Portfolio/Launches & VOC - In conjunction with the regional Product Management team, (reporting to APAC Sales Director), you will work in close collaboration to gather and share VOC related to Alaris products, solutions, and programs, as well as competitive offerings. In support of new product/program roll-out, you will be responsible for the development and execution of integrated launch plans, the reporting and monitoring of these, and to build a more customer and data-driven marketing operating model. Data analytics will serve as the basis for future investments and marketing spend allocations.
Staff Development & Partner Management - With a diverse regional marketing staff, the Marketing Director will also be charged with the assessment and development of the regional Marketing Team. Working remotely from a portion of the team will put a premium on clear communications and regular touchpoints for coaching and mentoring. Regular travel to meet with team members, agencies and key industry contacts is expected.

Leading the development and implementation of innovative marketing strategies and programs in partnership with the Regional & Worldwide Leadership Teams to meet revenue and pipeline targets.
Leading a team to operational excellence ensuring scale, severability, best practice definition, continuous learning and ensuring the transition from strategy to action.

Ensuring that persuasive, consistent and concise positioning (focused on value delivery) occurs throughout all marketing programs within the partner and customer segment/industry/solution/market.
Position Alaris as the preferred partner in information capture and provide an actionable next step to ensure a closed-loop process for every customer contact/outreach to build our network of partners/advocates.
Creating and communicating goals, objectives and key performance indicators for all marketing initiatives and ensuring that return on investment is achieved.
Identify best practice, programs, campaigns which can be leveraged across EMEA and analyze program results and make recommendations for future improvements.
Drive supplier-to-partner marketing programs to highlight the advantages of Alaris offerings, channel programs, and the critical role of Alaris channel partners in overall value delivery. Crystalize our position as a value-added, non-commodity solutions provider.
Regularly engage and establish relationships with key channel partners to gain market intelligence, VOC, competitive insights and to optimize marketing investments through better channel alignment.
Own and be accountable for Marketing Advertising budget and joint Marketing Development Fund (MDF) - process including proposal management, review, acceptance/rejection and proof of performance
Qualifications
Management of communications to multiple levels of internal and external stakeholders at local, regional, global level.
Inbound/outbound/digital/market automation and CRM marketing strategy/execution experience required.
Demonstrated success in managing multimillion dollar marketing budgets, including A$’s and MDF/BDF funding.
Experience Requirements
Experience in B2B Solutions Selling/Marketing required.
7 to 10+ years of developing and executing strategic demand generation and lead nurture programs in a business-to-business environment
Experience in B2B multi-tiered channel and Go to Market plans that include working with and through channel partners for fulfillment with a strong record of performance.
Proven experience in working with sales teams and supporting programs to drive awareness, consideration, and demand with and through channel partners.
Experience in planning and executing Trade and Customer Events/Shows/Partner Meetings.
Education Requirements
Relevant University Degree or equivalent experience required.
Skills
Working knowledge of PC operating systems, software applications and basic knowledge of computer networking
