Apple is seeking a highly experienced Front End Engineer to join our Apple Media Products team. Introduced at WWDC 2018, MusicKit JS brings Apple Music to the Web. This JavaScript library lets any website use Apple Music to search, display content metadata, play music, and more. Our team brings the MusicKit JS API to life, enabling developers to integrate Apple Music into their products. Our team is growing, and we hope to find developers with passion and expertise to help deliver the kind of high-quality interfaces that engineers and users have come to expect from Apple.

Proficient JavaScript programmer with experience with JS frameworks is highly desirable: React, Angular, etc. Experience with CSS3 and Less/Sass in large scale applications.
Familiarity with networking protocols and programming. Knowledge of media streaming, HTML5 MSE/EME, encryption standards a plus.
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Passion for quality and close attention to details. Ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Aptitude to independently learn new technologies.

Proficient JavaScript programmer

5+ years of SQA experience and 2+ years of experience as an SQA lead
Experience working with multi-functional teams to build up a test environment and identify tests
Experience shipping software on mobility products with embedded software (Smart Phone, Tablet, etc.)

BS in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
