Introduction

Capco is recruiting consultants and industry practitioners at all levels to join our Open Banking practice.

We are expanding our team to help our customers define and bring their Open Banking and platform vision to life. Evolving technology, regulation and customer expectations are creating the need for new infrastructure, development capabilities, business frameworks, and operational models. We believe open banking and the use of API will be central in our clients’ ability to sustain innovation, create new revenue streams, collaborate with Fintechs and create an agile product development environment. In that regard, Capco aims to provide its customers end to end capabilities, from strategy definition to API development.

Working across a range of clients you will have the opportunity to bring your knowledge of API, Open Banking, PSD2, and financial products to bear for those clients of ours who are looking to develop new strategies and improved business models in this new environment. In a customer-facing role, you will work collaboratively with clients to ensure that they are well-positioned to deliver on their goals and generate sustainable growth. You will be joining a highly motivated team with deep expertise and an exciting set of client engagements.

Your role

Playing an instrumental role in defining, architecting and developing internal and external API services for our clients
Building domain expertise and actively contributing to establishing the Open Banking practice as a leading one in the Benelux market
Sharing knowledge and acting as a technical expert within the team

Strong drive, resilience and a passion for excellence
Experience defining, architecting or developing API services for financial institutions or in other sectors<
Experience in the API documentation
Knowledge of RESTful API, HTTP, JSON, YAML
Familiarity with SOAP and familiarity with WSDL, WADL, XML
Familiarity with Swagger or RAML

Desirable

Experience in the Financial Services industry
Understanding of Open Banking and PSD2
Understanding of modern identity standards – OAuth2, OpenID Connect
Knowledge of financial industry API standards (STET, UK Open Banking, Berlin group)
Familiarity with API Management platforms of providers such as Apigee, CA, Axway, MuleSoft, Equens Worldline
Familiarity with project management tools like JIRA

University education and degree (business or IT related);

Knowledge of agile (SCRUM/Agile at scale) methodology
Team player with the ability to deliver projects and to work within project teams
Excellent written and verbal skills in English;
Ability to work under pressure;
Ability to work in a multicultural and international environment;
Flexibility about work location and willingness to travel abroad frequently
