In this role, you will:
Develop strategies that drive performance on electronics spend for the Aero Strategic Business Group (SBG). Manage Aerospace supplier spend, develop relationships that deliver results on save, on-time delivery, quality and more. Lead an electronics team of 7 direct reports that will create projects and drive project closure on all KPIs that include productivity, working capital, and operational improvements. Work with other peers on the corporate team to develop commodity strategies for all electronics categories.
Be the point of contact within the Aerospace sourcing team for electronics content and participate in all Aero driven initiatives and actions for this commodity.
Responsibilities
Leverage spend (volume) across Honeywell to drive savings (using eAuctions, Ariba RFQ) - Productivity Drive unified terms - Cash flow (Inventory, LT, Pay Terms)
Shift spend to preferred Suppliers – Quality, Delivery, Buy Hon
Identify Suppliers for development – Localization, HGR
Complete and Manage supplier contracts and multiyear agreements
Improve service levels to the businesses – Quality, Delivery
Promote and recognize Best in Class Supplier performance
Qualifications
5 years of experience in Electronics or Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) category management or sourcing, to include leadership responsibility
Experience Requirements
Significant experience in procurement including electronics commodity spend
Working and/or Leading in Matrix and complex Team
Environment
Project Management and/or Contract Management Experience
Professional Certifications in Project/Supply Chain/Procurement/Contract Management
Team Leader experience in Supply Chain Management/Sourcing/Procurement/Business
Demonstrated business and financial acumen
Experience with SAP, E Sourcing Platforms, Request for Quotation Tools, Project Management Tools
Masters Degree
Experience managing multiple projects in a dynamic global environment
Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in business, supply chain, procurement, or engineering.
